Tenerife has a busy and vibrant nightlife. Especially Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos are very popular on Tenerife. There you will find more than enough bars and clubs for all kinds of music and entertainment. On Tenerife all kinds of parties are organized from foam parties to theme parties. It is also possible just to have a nice and quiet drink on a terrace of one of the many bars in touristic locations on Tenerife.
Tenerife has many restaurants. As to be expected on an island such as Tenerife many of those restaurants are focused on fish and traditional Spanish dishes. In the tourist locations you will also find the big fast food chains and in those restaurants you can also order more European dishes.
How to get there
Tenerife can be reached in two ways
Tenerife has 2 airports; Reina Sofia and Los Rodeos. In essence Tenerife is easy to reach from most places. Sometimes you have to change flights in for Example Madrid Spain, but that all depends on the airline which is used.
Tenerife can be easily reached by boat from the other islands of the Canary Islands. The Canary Islands have 2 large operators which offer crossing between the islands. These operators are Fred Olsen and Armas. In general they operate well maintained boats and the crossings are experienced as pleasant.
On Tenerife it is possible to find accommodations for all kinds of budget. From cheap motels to the most luxurious golf resorts are present on Tenerife. The highest concentrations of hotels and resorts on Tenerife can be found in Costa Adeje, Playa de las Americas and Puerto de Santiago. The middle class hotels (and up) provide you with swimmingpools, restaurants and good and decent rooms.
