For a trip to Bali No vaccinations are required. Only if you arrive from regions which are affected by Yellow Fever you have to be vaccinated against Yellow Fever. Also we recommend to get vaccinated against the following viruses:
- Hepatitis A
- DTP; Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio
In Bali tablets against Malaria are recommended because some regions are affected by Malaria. And it is wise to protect yourself against mosquitoes. A mosquito repellent is a product that actually should be in your luggage. Preferably, an anti-mosquito agent containing DEET. This is also available on Bali.
Beside above mentioned risks Indonesia / Bali is affected by Dengue, Filariasis and Schistosomiasis (bilharzia).
Bali has regions which are affected with Rabies. Therefor it is advisable to avoid all contact with mammals on the island.
