Eagle Beach is a popular beach on the west coast of Aruba. The beach is next to the famous coastal town Palm Beach. Unlike Palm Beach, Eagle Beach has mostly small-scale and low-rise hotels, this area is also called "low rise area". On Eagle Beach grows the famous Fofoti tree and dividivi trees. A few months per year the beach is full of red and white marker posts that protect nesting sea turtles.

The Fofoti tree is the only one of its kind on Aruba. It's often ranked under the well-known Dividivi trees, but that's incorrect. The tree has a twisted trunk and grows sloping towards the sea.
Rancho El Paso

In the middle of Eagle Beach and Palm Beach lies Rancho El Paso. With Rancho El Paso you can explore the interior of Aruba or make a horse back ride over the beaches. An average tour takes about 2 hours and costs around $70 p.p.
Off the coast of Palm Beach and Oranjestad are many dive sites. From Eagle Beach you can easily go to these places for diving.
Spa del Sol is located on Manchebo Beach, this is a few minutes walk from Eagle Beach (head towards Druif Beach). At Spa del Sol you can get various treatments including facials, aromatherapy, shiatsu massage, manicures and pedicures.
Walk on the Beach
From Eagle Beach you can walk via Manchebo Beach to Druif Beach. Via the promenade you can walk from Eagle Beach to Palm Beach, continuing even all the way to Malmok Beach.
On Eagle Beach various water sports are offered such as banana ride, kayaking and jet skiing
Eagle Beach is part of Oranjestad. Oranjestad has many clubs and bars for all kinds of amusement. Also Palm Beach has many clubs and bars.
For shopping too it's best to head over to Oranjestad. There are some major shopping centers such as the Royal Plaza Mall, Renaissance Mall and Renaissance Marketplace. On Palm Beach are also many shops and shopping centers.
Eagle Beach only has luxury resorts and villas. These accommodations are equipped with many facilities such as swimming pools, bars, air-conditioning etc. All the resorts and hotels are low-rise and small scaled. For larger resorts you're better off at Palm Beach.
From Queen Beatrix International Airport in Oranjestad follow route 1B (LG Smith Boulevard) to the west. Just after the harbor go right at Druif Beach on JE Irausquin Boulevard. This road runs through the hotel area and Eagle Beach.
From Oranjestad take bus route 10, 10A or 10B to Hotel Area. These routes have a stop at Eagle Beach. A bus tickets costs 4 florin or $2,30.
